Edward Rivas is a twenty-five year international insurance professional. He has lived and worked in New York City, Mexico City and now resides in Dallas, Texas. His work assists clients globally and he uses English and Spanish daily. Edward is a noted speaker on global issues and a certified insurance continuing education trainer. He holds a Master of Business Administration from New York University.

As an author Edward writes in both English and Spanish. His eight years working in Mexico City taught him the value of learning culture and how it impacts character perspective. Edward is a leader in his employer’s Business Resource Group for underrepresented and ethnic minority groups. His articles frequently appear in celebration of events such as Hispanic Heritage Month and Black History Month. He has also hosted special events such as the Book Club and Chef Series.

In his spare time Edward enjoys grilling for the family, working out at the gym with his sons and keeping up with current events. His wife and two sons are bilingual enjoying programs in both languages.
